Audi S3

Munich is wet. Adapted wet. Position the muzzles of our host centres about the English bringing time with them. Ha, ha. In fact not only the weak jokes brought smiles to the faces of Audi which surround us, although - it is the knowledge which the last model of the company, rising generation S3 of `, should shine in conditions which better are described like `nice for ducks.


Let us treat initially the new label of generation of `, however. It is a limit which crawls in the language of the motor vehicles of launching with the increase in the frequency. It suggests new-of-the-ground-towards the top, when in fact it is enough vague to be new-headlight-but-not-much-of different. S3 leans towards this last, but there are two or three significant updates. Is initially the fact that Audi S3 is now available in the form of Sportback of `of five-carries. Actualizations of software mean that the engine of turbo of 2 liters puts almost 10 percent now outside less CO2 (199g/km for three-carries, 201g/km for Sportback), but there is not in a disappointing way more power. Why disappointing? Since the new TTS (led, evo 119) has grace 268bhp to its overflowing catch and exhaust freer.

Other new little on S3 includes a fluid clutch of rapid-reaction of center for the system of quattro and, for the first time, the options of the magnetic turn and a transmission of S-tronic six-speed (duel-clutch), whereas apart from him has some naming dry blows there subtle - including/understanding new xenon headlights with the current lights of day of LED - to refresh things to the top a little.

Do fact any of this make a basic difference with the experiment of drive? Not, not a catch. 'N sure vigorous adds it always upwards. In spite of the conditions, S3 seizes hard and finds good traction, thus speed through the country is not doubt inside. That is supported by the engine, which now seems to provide its power in more progressive, less explosive mode. However, it is always the nose of the car which the precepts driving back the attitude and there is little that you can make with the power control or the direction to disturb the desire of the system 4wd to the understeer one. S3 is foreseeable and, although its turn is an abrupt contact, very forgiving, but it does not have the hunger and the sensitivity of a true hot trap door. Of what we can say on these smooth German roads, the magnetic turn does not make as much difference here that on the lighter TTT, one or the other.

Thus the S3 new generation is a fast trap door very adaptable and ripe it is interesting being that inside and good with have, but it lacks an edge extroverti. Businesses as usual, then.
